Spektral Quartet recording binary/momentary logics: flow state/joy state at The Logan Center at the University of Chicago

binary/momentary logics: flow state/joy state was commissioned by Spektral Quartet and the Cliff Dwellers Club, and was premiered at Constellation in Chicago in June 2016. This piece explores the joy of opening up the mind to improvisatory exploration. It is also an attempt at orchestrating for acoustic instruments with my electronic improvisational language. The movement titles should be informative about the nature of this piece:

iii. bela i
iv. freeze slide ping pong extension
v. slide
vi. altieri special
